Yeah! Finally my body is making adjustments.

My body is beginning to make the adjustment between the Pacific to the Central timezone. My own personal opinion is, "Whew! It's about time." I had energy this weekend but sat around my house watching movies due to Hurricane Ike. (Waco had some rain and wind, that's it!) Maybe I can continue moving into my house.

Egads!

This post is about me and how I'm doing, a litmus test if you will. Man am I tired!

Teaching is great and is exactly what I need to do right now. Classes appear to be going well. Some students appear to accept me as their professor and others are not sure what to think. Coursework is flowing and lecturers are being spoken.

My home on the other hand is the loser in this fight. When I get home, I sleep (alot). My body is trying to make the adjustment to the Central Time Zone and I'm the one paying the price. It's tough trying to move to a new area, work yourself into a new job and redo the interior of a house.

My glasswork is like a red-headed step child. I am so happy that the shows were not that good and the pieces that the distributors had covered the work that sold. The studio is exactly were it was when I moved stuff in. Glass is still in the back of my truck. And, I realized last week that I need to order some stuff before I can really begin.

I'm hoping the studio is done by October and I'm moved into my home by Christmas.

Other than sleeping most of the weekend, I finally have the images.

Living Room:



The living room has had a lot of work done to it. In the picture to the left, you can see a corner of the new wood entryway. Also, carpet, paint and painted trim has also been done. (You can see Jeopardy on the TV.)

Pretty Princess Room:



This was the room with the castle picnic table/wall hangings. Paint, painted trim and carpet are new. The room looks great! This room is now called the guest room.

Pink Room:



As you can see, there's still a bit of pink on the walls. Other than that, the room had the standard paint, painted trim and carpet. Right now, I'm moving stuff into it and it will be the first room that should be completed. This room is now the home office/computer room.

Master Bedroom:



This is the room where all the magic happens....... I sleep alot! Same old paint, painted trim and carpet. This room now has a bed and a few dressers. There is tons of rooms here. It makes me smile.

If you can't tell, I am a guy. That means that when it comes to paint and carpet, I like it to be the same. I'm in the process of moving stuff in, and that's taking a while.
